How do we Enter into a Civil Partnership?
Before entering into a civil partnership you must meet the following criteria:
- You and your partner must be over 18. It is possible to register a civil partnership if you and your partner are 16 or 17 but this will require written permission from both of your parents or legal guardians.
- You must have lived in the same area of England or Wales for at least seven days
